Behind the Name

Of Sparrows & Butterflies is something I have been working on for a while now. God placed this name on my heart months ago when I started to wonder what my life is about, what am I doing, what do I need to change?  I'm not sure where God will take it(my blog/brand) or me, but I am excited to see His work in my life.

Sparrows~ A Symbol of Hope

Psalm 31:24- Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart, All you who hope in the Lord.

Psalm 71:14- But I will hope continually, And will praise You yet more and more.

Psalm 78:7- That they may set their hope in God, And not forget the works of God, But keep His commandments.

Psalm 119:147- I rise before the dawning of the morning, And cry for help; I hope in Your word.

Butterflies~ A Symbol of Transformation

Romans 12:2- And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

2 Corinthians 3:18- But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
